Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas and released into the circulation, allowing within your body to take the glucose from the blood to cells. Your body uses glucose to produce energy or store it for future use. If you have diabetes, your pancreas is not producing enough insulin, or your body cannot use the insulin produced regularly. This causes a high level of glucose in your blood. Glucophage 1000 mg helps to reduce the glucose level in your blood to the normal level as much as possible.
